Bent Tree Safety & Emergency Management has teamed up with The Lodge at Stephens Lake to provide resources and education to people who struggle with falls.  Falls are one of the most common medical calls our department responds to, and we would love to see the quality of life for at risk individuals improve.

Emergency 911 Phone at Back Gate

To provide residents at the dog park or near the back gate a reliable means of summoning emergency services, an Emergency 911 phone has been installed.  It is on the back side of the security building facing vehicles leaving Bent Tree.  This phone is only capable of dialing 911.  Please read this entire post to see more pictures and find out all the vital details.

Change Your Clocks, Check Your Batteries

Since 1987, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has run the campaign “When you change your clocks, change your batteries.”  Smoke detectors have changed since the beginning, but the principal behind the campaign is the same!
