CHECKING YOUR GAS GRILL FOR LEAKS

Last week, we reviewed some basic grilling fire safety tips. We hope everyone passed the test or learned some valuable information. Now, we’re going to focus on gas grills and how to check them for leaks. Gas grills are within Bent Tree Rules and Regulations to use, but the use of propane can lead to dangerous situations if there is a leak. GRILLING FIRE SAFETY

June and July are the “hottest” months for grill fires. According to the NFPA, approximately 9,500 people per year are seriously burned each year by grill fires or hot grills. Enjoy your summer cookouts safely, and don’t be part of those statistics! Please watch this short video about safe grill operations and see if you pass the test!
