Discover The Lake

In the North Georgia Mountains, our 110-acre lake is 1,450 feet above sea level and is 85 feet deep.  The lake is fed by numerous streams.  It is inhabited by bass, pan fish and other numerous fish and stocked annually with trout and channel catfish.

Boating On The Lake

Many people enjoy the mountain views of Lake Tamarack from their canoe, kayak, sail or pedal boat which may be stored at the onsite boat storage facility. Electric motors are allowed on the lake.

Party On The Lake

Lake Tamarack offers many opportunities to host a party or invite some friends for a picnic.  The covered pavilion is equipped with grills, picnic tables, water and restrooms.  Monday nights are a special gathering time in Bent Tree, where neighbors meet for for the Monday Night Picnics.

Relaxing On The Beach

The Lake Tamarak Beach is a great place to swim and enjoy the sun.  Families and friends can be found here throughout the year.

Playing At The Lake

Our Lake and Beach activity area has a children’s playground and gazebo, basketball courts, bocce ball courts and a beach volleyball area.  Close to the  Beach Pavilion makes it very convenient for spending a fun day with the family.
