Clubs & Organizations

With so much to do ... you'll never want to leave.

Find your best friends here . . .

There is no shortage of groups and organizations for residents of Bent Tree. We are always finding reasons to get together and make some memories. If your passion is the great outdoors, you will love our "Lake and Wildlife" group who look after our forest conservation efforts and much more. And if music is more your thing, join in with the Dulcimer Group or the Karaoke nights. Regardless of where your interests lie, more than likely we have a club or social event to celebrate it!

Social Activities

The Social Activities at Bent Tree have become well-known and are a big part of why Bent Tree residents love to call this place home.  The calendar is always full of opportunities to get together and reasons to meet your neighbors.  If we can find a reason to socialize, we will!

Sporting Activities

There are lots of great sports to get involved with from Pickleball to Tennis to Golf.  Bent Tree hosts many tournaments including tennis, golf and equestrian events.  So, no matter how competitive you are, there is a sporting event for it!  Is Trivia a sport?

Clubs & Organization

Bent Tree has too many groups and organizations to list, but here is a little sample of what life is like Living At Bent Tree.  No matter what your interests may be, you will find neighbors that share them.

Book Club

Like a good heart-rending novel? Want the insider info on the latest non-fiction title? Interested in reading old novels that you might have missed during the last ten years? What about an intriguing murder mystery with a real twist at the end?  Join our monthly book club and open the door to an adventure!

Gardening Club

Do you have a green thumb, or are you more the brown thumb type, no matter, join our Gardeners Club to learn more about the planting in northern Georgia. The goal of the Bent Tree Gardeners is to enhance, beautify, and help maintain targeted common areas of Bent Tree.

Hiking Club

The Bent Tree Hiking Club is a group of residents who love the outdoors and enjoy the challenge of hiking in and outside the Bent Tree gates, and do so with like-minded and friendly people. We are an arm of our Lake and Wildlife Committee, whose mission is the monitoring and conservation of our lake and natural resources within Bent Tree and in our surrounding community. The mission of the Hiking Club is to provide the opportunity to our residents and their guests to participate in planned and guided hikes throughout the year for exercise and sheer enjoyment of hiking our beautiful countryside.

Sailing Club

Bent Tree's Sailing Club welcomes residents interested in sailing on Lake Tamarack. We are sailors of all skill levels from beginner to quite accomplished. Whether you're expert or novice, paddler or sailor, you are welcome to join this club.  We will hold three regattas during the summer months near the dam and otherwise get together informally whenever the fickle wind of Lake Tamarack is up.

Photography Club

The Bent Tree Shutterbugs photography club was established in April, 2008. The Shutterbugs affords members of our community an opportunity to share interests, ideas, experience, as well as a passion for photography. To accomplish this, our club provides an environment in which we can develop skills and share our talents, while both documenting our lives and creating photographic art.

Singles Club

An opportunity for Bent Tree singles to get to know one another. We meet once a month for activities such as dinners out, pizza parties, movie nights, plays, house parties...you name it, we might try it. It's all about fun and fellowship. Watch for monthly event updates on the Website and event flyers posted at the Mail Center.
