The mission of the Lake & Wildlife Standing Committee is to protect and maintain our natural resources in order to serve the needs of the Bent Tree Community. To this end, the Committee will provide leadership in protection, management, and suitable use of the forest and related ecosystems and resources they contain. Such resources include fish and wildlife, outdoor recreational opportunities, timber, and water. The Committee will furnish leadership in preserving the natural beauty consistent with good stewardship and wise assimilation of human occupancy into the natural setting.
Dissemination of knowledge through programs of education will be presented, and voluntary activity will be encouraged in affording every member the opportunity to participate and commune with nature. Furthermore, to encourage and promote the opportunity for our membership, especially our new members, to become better acquainted in their enjoyment of life at Bent Tree.
