In the North Georgia Mountains, our 110 acre lake is 1,450 feet above sea level, 85 feet deep and the dam is fed by numerous streams. It is inhabited by bass and stocked annually with trout.
Many people enjoy the mountain views of Lake Tamarack from their canoe, kayak, sail or pedal boat which may be stored at the onsite boat storage facility. Electric motors are allowed on the lake.
Our recreation area by the lake includes a covered pavilion with picnic tables and grills, a sand beach, and playground.
